About Us

Together with the people of Senshu and Izumisano, as well as those who love this region, we aim to preserve the cultural landscape, utilize historical heritage and traditional culture, promote various cultural and artistic activities, revitalize tourism and the community, and create a town rich in creativity.

About Our Activities

Aiming to revitalize the “Sano Machiba” area, where the historic Shinkawa Residence is located, the NPO Senshu Sano Nigiwai Honpo was established in May 2005.

We manage the Shinkawa Residence, a cultural asset designated by Izumisano City, and host events and exhibitions. (Attracting nearly 10,000 visitors annually)

Over a decade since our inception, various connections have been formed, and we now engage in a wide range of projects for regional revitalization in addition to managing the historic Shinkawa Residence.

Together with the people of Senshu and Izumisano, as well as those who love this region, we aim to preserve the cultural landscape, utilize historical heritage and traditional culture, promote various cultural and artistic activities, revitalize tourism and the community, and create a town rich in creativity.

We offer guided tours inside the residence,

providing insights into its history.

Promoting Local Attractions

Since its establishment, the Izumisano Regional Interpreter Guide Association (formerly the Izumisano Special Zone Interpreter Guide Association) has been promoting local attractions through information dissemination activities and organizing tours for inbound tourists.

Unique Experiences in Izumisano

Izumisano City, located near Kansai Airport, welcomes many international visitors. It often serves as the first and last place where they experience Japan. We hope that through unique experiences in Izumisano, visitors will become fans of Japan.

We offer both inbound tours for international visitors and domestic tours, including experiences like Shugendo training on Mount Inunaki and walks through the historic streets of Sano Machiba.
